We are getting many emails asking us about the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) which recently made headlines in the US after the Texas- based charity and five former members were convicted of providing financial aid to organizations identified by the US government as “terrorist.” While it should be apparent that the only similarity between Holy Land Trust and the Holy Land Foundation is the resemblance in the name, it seems we still need to make it clear that both organizations are two separate and distinct entities and neither has had any connection with the other, personally or corporately. Holy Land Trust stands in solidarity with all those who work for a real, just, and lasting peace in the Holy Land. We believe and support all those who see nonviolence as the only way to achieve this purpose and thus we do not support or condone violence of any kind to achieve these ends, either on the part of Palestine, Israel, or any third party.
