Study And Fact-finding Missions

Study And Fact-finding Missions

This program was designed especially for students of Middle Eastern Affairs, political science or biblical studies. It takes the political, religious, and social situation in the Middle East off the front pages of the news outlets and lands it at your full disposal. After our two week program, you will grasp the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in a way not possible from a textbook alone. Living with locals provides daily opportunities to discuss and analyze each day’s events, as well as unparalleled access to Palestinian and Israeli society and culture.

The two week program includes sightseeing in Palestinian occupied territories and in Israeli areas including the cities and towns of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, Jafa, Haifa, Akko, Nazareth, Golan Heights, Tiberius, Nablus, Jericho and Beer Shiva. There will be visits to both Palestinian and Israeli villages, Israeli settlements and Palestinian refugee camps. You will meet with politicians, clergy, and community leaders, as well as peace organizations and activists from both sides of the conflict.
