Your Generosity Can Foster Winter Resilience

As we move deeper into the holiday season, we are reminded how this time of year naturally opens hearts. There is something about Christmas — its warmth, its spirit, its message — that makes generosity come more easily. People feel a stronger desire to give, to uplift others, and to extend compassion in ways that truly matter.

This spirit is beautifully echoed in Scripture:

“Give, and it will be given to you… For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

– Luke 6:38

As we continue our journey toward the end of the year, we remain deeply grounded in the stories of strength coming from Umm Al-Kheir , a small Palestinian Bedouin community located in the Southern Hebron Hills (Area C of the West Bank). Families there face the winter months with courage, yet the challenges grow heavier as temperatures drop. In moments like these, our shared humanity guides us — reminding us that warmth, safety, and dignity should never be out of reach.

This Giving Tuesday, we are focusing on three urgent needs that can immediately transform daily life for these families:

Water Tanks — $500 each We still need 20 additional tanks to help ensure families have stable access to clean water — something no household should go without.

Firewood — $500 per ton Winter is already settling in, and families urgently need 35 tons of firewood to keep their homes warm and their children safe from the cold.

Basic medical supplies — $5,000 total These supplies allow families to manage essential health needs with dignity, especially during a season when illness becomes more common.

As we send this second message in our seven-part campaign, we are building a path of hope together — one step, one act of kindness, one gesture of solidarity at a time.

Your Giving Tuesday contribution can keep homes warm, support daily survival, and remind families in Umm Al-Kheir that they are not facing winter alone.

Stand with families in Umm Al-Kheir this Giving Tuesday – every gift keeps homes warm and hearts hopeful.

Standing with Umm Al-Kheir is not charity—it is an act of justice and shared humanity.
