1. Eligibility

We offer a wide range of high quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities with our volunteering and intership oppurtunities.

We have a commitment to ensure that our volunteers and interns receive the best care and support so that they feel happy and safe here and are therefore able to thrive and achieve locally. Our volunteer and internship coordinator team are all trained to work with you through the process. We generally like to have volunteers and interns stay a minimum of two months. In special circumstances, such a previous engagement with Holy Land Trust or unique circumstance, we can shorten the length requirement. Otherwise, if you’re wanting to go visit and learn, check out our our packages. Those might be a better fit.

2. Application

We pride ourselves in delivering the best experience possible to for our volunteers and interns, because we understand the importance of good working relationships.

Once you fill out the application, we will be touch with soon. But be specific and transparent in the application. If there are topics you are unsure about, then it is ok to just say that. If there are certain aspects of the Holy Land you feel strongly about, then put that in as well. The application process is more about getting to know each other and finding out what kind fit makes sense for everybody involved. We find the first steps in geting to know each other and outlying expectations is crucial in a successful volunteering and internship arraignment.

3. Review Process

The next steps towards heading to the Holy Land.

Now Holy Land Trust staff reviews the responses and undergoes a short organizational audit to see what oppurtunities would be suite your particulary skillset and interests. We make sure we have available resources and begin to have longer discussion on what a partnership may look. Gererally during the review process, there are some additional phone calls and email exchanges as we all work to get on the same page.

4. Acceptance

You will be welcomed into a thriving community ushering in social change.

After everybody feels comfortable with outline of the internship or volunteership, Holy Land Trust will start working on helping you along the way. At this point we start talking about housing needs, logistical concerns, and safety considerations. At this point, we are fully committed to each other and our shared success.
